Portraits

My enchantment with photography started when I was about nine-years-old. I came across Life's 1973 large hard-cover photo book The Best of Life. I couldn't express it at the time, but I instinctively knew that pictures could inspire, enlighten, and persuade others to see the world differently.

I majored in Fine Art Photography but lacked self-confidence and switched majors to Journalism. I worked in broadcast journalism for five years, but to make a long story short, I circled back and reignited my pursuit of a photographic career...not for the faint of heart, but I don't think I see myself doing anything else. You live. You learn. That's life, and capturing LIFE is what I love most about photography.
